Nah maksud saya adalah, bagaimana caranya saya bisa install SmartFren CE682 (wvdial-nya) secara manual, kebetulan saya udah pernah download paket wvdial-nya waktu nyoba install SmartFren CE682 di Ubuntu. Tapi jika anda memang menginginkan driver modem Smartfren, di website Smartfren pun sebenarnya sudah disediakan. Sebelum setting, agan diwajibkan untuk install wvdial & modeswitch-nya dulu yaa. Karena wvdial & modeswitch berperan penting dalam setting ini gan.. tapi kalo untuk linux mint kaya.nya udah ada dehh.. hehe
Bagi agan yg belum ada wvdial-nya, jalankan TERMINAL ketik “apt-get install wvdial” dan untuk modeswithnya ketik “usb_modeswitch”..
Skrg masuk setting yaa..
Pertama-tama masukan dulu modem-nya ke port USB, ternyata modem smartfren dibaca-nya sebagai CD-Room bukan modem. Untuk itu kita harus mengubah dahulu modem smartfren dari CD-Room menjadi Modem.. Maaf yaa gan kalo saya bnyak ngomong.. hehe 😀
Maaf yaa gan kalo tampilannya “Sena-Lenovo” itu nama komputer saya, tapi kalo di komputer agan pasti nama komputer agan dong.. hehe 😀
