Please help me -When trying to install w98se I agreed to option to delete the data of the installed operating system (xp pro). Then was directed to put in a floppy in the disk. But the laptop does not have a floppy disk drive, so I cancelled, but when I rebooted there is a message saying NO operating system. I have put in a xp pro installation disk, but all it does is read the configuration files then nothing. I can get into the bios and boot from the CD drive. Can someone please tell me how to install the xp pro. Before I started to try to install the operating systems the laptop, I could not boot into windows xp pro. Kept getting - system32driverspci.sys - I had tried to repair and also reinstall but it would not let me do either, so thats why I decided to try w98se. The laptop is an Acer Signature 6000 with about 1g Ram.
If anyone can give me some help I would appreciated it.
